Butler Consignment Service

The Butler service is a premium service to members who commission The Wardrobe Store (TWS) to sell items. Prestige designer clothes are welcome and sell quickly. All items must fit the following criteria.

  • Goods must of a reptable premium brand, be in excellent order, washed or dry-cleaned and ready to sell with no damage that would render the item as poor quality (no missing buttons, broken zips, stains, animal hair, moth balls fragrances etc).
  • Clothes must be seasonal ie winter stock will be accepted for winter
  • Clothes must have been purchased for over $300 per unit
  • As a pricing guide - new items with tags sell for 40% of the RRP, preloved sell for 25% of the RRP. Final sell price is at the discretion of The Wardrobe Store management team and reflects current market conditions, age and quality of stock and seasonal market conditions including sale times.

Fees: TWS is paid a percentage of the sale price as a fee for this service.

  • TWS receives 50% of the selling price.
  • TWS will retain 5% of the selling price to cover administration costs (Paypal commissions, Secure Pay commissions, Credit card commissions, Bank fees, Internet servers and hosting fees).
  • Client commissions reflect the Butler service you select:
  1. Delivered to TWS Sydney City Store Client receives 45% commission of the selling price,
  2. Butler Personal Service - collected from your premises: Client receives 40% commission of the selling price, Butler receives 5% fee for service
Our wonderful Butler clients are paid 10 days after the end of the month - so that all Lay-buys and any returns are processed and captured. All communication is via email and EFT so it is easier and more instant for all!

Goods are managed to sale for 12 weeks. For those who wish for their goods returned, they must be collected by week 13 from the date of lodgement date. Post this date; all goodies are donated to one of our needy charities.

STEP 2:  ORGANISE YOUR PARCEL DELIVERY The simplest way to get your goods to us appears to be by mail, courier or drop off. 

Butler collection service: Due to the amount of requests in Sydney the Butler Collection Service is now underway.  Please contact us if this is more convenient for you.

Mail Option
Simply pop into an Australia Post Office to mail the parcel.

Drop off and Courier Option
Please use your own choice of courier, here is one option.

Ask for The Cash Team where you can process an over the phone credit card booking. DHL offer s a 24/7     booking service and pick-up Monday to Friday in all metro and most regional areas.  Delivery fee will be dependent on the weight and location to deliver to Sydney CBD
